Declaration of Intent

Surprised Batman
Yes, they’re as shocked as you are at my suggestion.

After an awkward start, and some rather self-conscious posts, that didn’t know where they were headed or whether they wanted to go anywhere, I can safely say (that is until my next change of heart) I know what I want to do, to write, to “talk” about. And that is nothing.Well, not exactly nothing, but you know, the meaningless banter that engulfs all that is pop culture. From who would win in a fight between superheroes to whether Shawshank Redemption or The Godfather should hold the number 1 spot on IMDb (neither if you ask me), from how the Beatles still have an influence on today’s rock to what other long dead TV show should get a cinematic update (I say bring Adam West back as Batman under the direction of Joel Schumacher in Batman & Robin mode).

Comic Book Guy
Worst post ever.

But first and foremost these are all opionions, no matter how condescending or arrogantly stated they may be. And as opinions I expected them to be the matter of discussion (and by that I probably mean thrashing) among civilized and polite people (and by that I mean rude, obnoxious know-it-alls).
All that said, I leave you with the prospect of this turning from fledgling blog into a fully fleshed entertainment site in the distant (very distant) future (and that would be as soon as I decide to get off my bum and write the code).

One Response to “Declaration of Intent”

  1. To tell the truth, I am voiceless. The Shawshank Redemption is tremendous. I’am a young film fanatic, as a matter of fact, this film appeared the same yearI was very young, and so I’am more accustomed films with incredible special effects, edge-of-your-seat action, et cetera. This film has no of that, and even, it appeals so closely to me . The way Frank Darabont uses the tale of Red to drive on the tale, the excellent the music applied (note the harmonica used merely earlier Red receiving the letter close to the end). The entire movie, from starting to end, from actions to music, is a lighthouse of hope, judgment, and repurchase. The cast is perfect, Morgan Freeman(Red) in reality brings about a refreshing feel to the movie, and that is exactly what the film is, what a film should be. Really recommended for each film fan.
